Raw Material Sourcing
Rice remains one of Nigeria’s most important staple foods, and the country is recognized as a significant global producer of paddy. To ensure consistent quality and supply, Savvy Rice Mill sources paddy through a diversified procurement network including private traders, cooperatives, independent farmers, and village agents.
Over 90% of our paddy is secured through our field-based and out-stationed Quality Control (QC) teams. These trained professionals are responsible for:
- Moisture level assessment
- Seed and grain quality verification
- Grading and scale acceptance checks
- Coordinated delivery to the milling facility
This structured sourcing model ensures that only high-grade paddy enters our production process.
Processing Operations
Our processing and manufacturing facilities in Kano are designed to meet modern food safety and quality standards. Continuous investment in safety, health, quality assurance, and sustainability enables us to deliver reliable, high-quality rice products to our customers.
Our facilities are equipped with advanced technologies, including:
- Laboratory testing systems
